Winter Car Care Tips

A cold winter can be rough on a vehicle, and it is when it is freezing outside that you need your car to be as reliable as possible. Here are a few tips to keep you going through-out the cold winter months.

  • Keep an eye on those tyre pressures - low pressure will cause poor handling and premature tyre wear.
  • Clean your headlamps - dirty headlamps give poor light aim.
  • Have your antifreeze strength checked - no antifreeze in winter conditions can crack engines.
  • Keep windscreen washer bottle full with a non freezing agent added.
  • And lastly, never eat yellow snow!
